『オバマ氏大統領に』

　アメリカでは大統領選の投票もすみ、民主党のオバマ氏が共和党のマケイン氏を破って、黒人初の大統領になりました。
The Presidential election is over in the US、 and Mr.Obama of Democrat beat Mr.McCaiｎ of Republic to be the first black President in the US.

　過去８年間はブッシュ氏が大統領でテロとの戦いと銘打って外国への侵略が際立った気がしていました。
外国への侵攻は仕方がない場合もあるのかもしれませんが、多くの無実の人が犠牲になる侵攻には反対です。
I personally feel that during the past 8 years、 US invasion into other countries in the name of finghting terror has been conspicuous. There may be cases where military advance is the only option、 but I oppose anything that victimises the innocent.

　多くのアメリカ人退役者も戦後後遺症で苦しんでいるときています。
I also hear that many American veterans are suffering from some kind of mental disorder after finghting war.

　オバマ氏がどんな政治をするのか私にはわかりませんが、アメリカ国内の貧民層だけでなく、世界の貧民層にも手を差し伸べる政治になることを強く望みます。
I don't know how Mr.Obama is going to handle political affairs. I only hope that he'll try to help not only the poor in US but　also in the world.
